Dr. Scott Schopieray is Assistant Dean for Academic and Research Technology at the Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters. His areas of specialization are online teaching and learning, technology integration into organizations, and faculty development. Over the past 16 years he has participated in the design, development and evaluation of over 100 online and hybrid courses at the graduate and undergraduate level. During this time he has also presented his work at regional, national and international conferences.
Dr. Schopieray has previously worked at the MSU College of Education as Assistant Director of the Center for Teaching and Technology; MSU Writing Center, focusing on composition and rhetoric in digital environments; MSU Virtual University Design and Technology as an online course developer and project manager, and as a professional web and multimedia designer.
